In My Mail Box (2)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren where us bloggers can talk about the books we bought or received this week.

Let me say up front that I have been spoiled rotten by my blogger friends this week, seriously, you are all way to kind to me!  Just a small recap of what has been going on:  A few days ago I got an awesome package from my good friend Heather In Sandwich from Buried In Books, but I was unable to fully enjoy said package because I have been incredibly - not to mention miserably, sick as a dog.  Summer time colds kick my ass every year, but this one did a number on me.  Now that I am mostly recovered I wanted to share with you all in the awesomeness that I got! :D

For Review: Tales From The Mind Of A Schizophrenic by Vincent Macraven

Tales from the mind of a schizophrenic is a series of short stories from the mind and imagination of Vincent Macraven.

Tales of mystery
Of romance
Of horror
Of religious thought
Of reflection
And of hope.

What happens when a guitarist sells his soul, then changes his mind?
Meet Brother Zeno, a learned and wise hermit.
Take a journey with Jody and the mystery surrounding a small town.

These and other tales to entertain, provoke thought and offer a different perspective. 31 tales in all, come take a journey and enjoy (description from Goodreads).

Awesomeness from Heather! :D

  5. Kelsa- Vincent did the cover art. Another of his talents. I'm glad you like the goodies! I'm trying to share with everyone when I send out books. You have to read Jeri Smith-Ready's book Shade. The sequel Shift is coming out soon.
I'm delivering signed bookmarks to the little bookstore in town.

BTW- Rick Riordan is coming to Sandwich on May 8th for a reading out of his new book and he will sign 2 books. He'll be at the high school in town. Yeah, we're a one high school town. Isn't that awesome!!! I wish one of our Percy Jackson books still had the cover on it.
